Spell: Snipping the Threads

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

To break your attachment to someone from the past or someone who is bad for you, cut the threads of attachment.

Wet a pair of sewing scissors in saltwater, saying:

"By water and earth, I consecrate this tool of cutting. Cut away attachments!

Pass the scissors through burning sage smoke, saying:

"By fire and air, I consecrate this tool of cutting. Cut away attachments!"

Then say:

"By all powers, I do cut away the threads between (persons's name) and me."

With the scissors, make three cuts beneath the soles of your feet (cutting the aura), saying:

"I cut (name) from my feet. Where I walk, (name) is not."

Repeat the three aura cuts at the following locations, saying the appropriate verse.

Root:
"I cut (name) from my root. At my root, (name) is not."

Navel:
"I cut (name) from my navel. In my gut, (name) is not."

Heart:
"I cut (name) from my heart. When I love, (name) is not."

Hands:
"I cut (name) from my hands. What I touch, (name) is not."

Throat:
"I cut (name) from my throat. What I say, (name) is not."

Third eye:
"I cut (name) from my third eye. In my imagination, (name) is not."

Crown:
"I cut (name) from my crown. In my dreams, (name) is not."

Then say:
"It is done."

Keep the scissors on your altar.

Afterward, clean and oil the scissors so the salt doesn't damage them.
