Spell: Creatively Heal the World

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

World Creativity and Innovation Day promotes the importance of fresh, new, and out-of-the-box thinking with regard to sustainability and climate change. Today, take a moment to come up with some creative ways you can personally support our beloved planet Earth. If weather permits, take a notebook or journal outside and sit on the grass or under a tree. (Otherwise find a comfy spot where you can gaze out the window.)

Breathe and connect with the elements in your environment, one by one. First, earth: soil, rocks, plants, and trees. Then air: birds, insects, clouds, and the feeling of the air on your skin. Then fire: the sun and sunlight. Then water: any body of water or the awareness of moisture in the air, earth, and plants. Finally, spirit: the first four elements combined, as well as the conscious aliveness that interweaves all of it. Then contemplate how you can become an even better steward of the land and planet. List these ideas in your notebook. When this feels complete, thank each element in turn.
