To break ties with someone who is speaking lies about you, use this spell to burn yourself out of their memory. Perform this ritual when the Moon is in Aries—before it moves into Taurus at 5:11 p.m. EST.

You will need:

• Five of Spades playing card (from a new deck)
• A black ink pen or marker
• Heatproof dish
• Matches or lighter

With a black pen or marker, write your full name (First, Middle, Last) across the central spade on the playing card. Beginning on the bottom left spade, connect the spades with a black line in a clockwise direction.

Write the full name of your enemy outside this line, on each side of the card. Burn the playing card in a heatproof dish (preferably outside because of the smoke).

Recite this while burning:

Three rings of fire surround me.
Burn away my name. As the ash is
blown away by the wind, so let my
name blow away out of your mind.

Take the remaining ash outside and toss it into the air.
