Incense of the day: Almond With the Moon in Taurus, now is a good time to connect to the animals and woodland creatures that live near you. Developing a relationship with the animal world expands and augments our sense of nature. To start, pick an animal that lives near you-this can be a squirrel, deer, raccoon, or opossum. Go outside and examine the areas where this animal lives. Then breathe deeply, and close your eyes. Start to imagine the shape and size of the animal-the way it moves its head and body, and the way it examines the world with scent and sight. If you want, begin to imitate its movements and its characteristics. Act like the animal. After a few minutes, open your eyes. This new-found awareness will help develop your connection to the animal world and to your own natural instincts and innate skills. |
