POSTED UNDER Moon

Spell: International Women's Day

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today, light a white candle on your altar. Relax, center your mind, and say:

Great Goddess, I call on you. Lend
your light and strength to all women,
of all races, in all countries now.
May the Divine Feminine and Divine
Masculine come into complementary
balance in human culture, for the
highest good of all. Thank you.

Extinguish the candle. Next, look through your library or do a web search to choose a woman from history (recent or ancient) who inspires you, and whom you’d like to emulate in some way. Create, print out, or obtain an image of her that you like. Frame it and place it on your altar near the candle. Light the candle for a few minutes daily until the next full moon (on March 18 at 3:18 a.m. EST) while gazing at her image. Invite her powerful qualities into your being so that you can carry on the legacy of her unique expression of strength, while also making it your own.
