These books often take the form of personal journals for some people, and they deserve to be well cared for. It doesn't matter if your "book" is a journal, a binder, or even a digital file.
Place the book (in whatever form it takes) on your altar with a candle on each side. Be careful not to singe the edges or melt it. Visualize your book as a sacred repository for all your magic. Chant: "All my thoughts and all my spells, bless them and protect them well. Cover to cover and page to page, preserve these words for any age." |
