Spell: Offering Blessings

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

As a magical person, you may be in a situation to give blessings to others (or you may wish to bless yourself ).

If possible, work at or near sunrise or at high noon.

Place the person to be blessed in the east and stand facing them. Make physical contact with them in one or more of these ways: by taking one or both of their hands, by placing one hand on one of their shoulders, and/or by placing one hand on their head. Repeat the following:

"To the universe [or substitute a deity name, if desired]:
I entreat you to protect your servant (name of person to be blessed).
Keep him/her safe from harm and wrongdoing.
Guide him/her with certainty to the right path.
Bless his/her days with love, light, and warmth.
So may it be!"

You might also include smudging in the blessing ceremony. Blue or white candles would add to the blessing, as would the use of clear quartz.
