Spell: Sculpting the Chakras

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

When you're in the mood for arts and crafts, obtain air-dry clay, one color for each of the seven primary chakras (rainbow colors are great, or use whichever colors feel best). Hold the clay you've chosen for your root chakra and close your eyes, bringing your awareness to the base of your spine, your root chakra. When you feel a connection to this energy center, open your eyes and sculpt the clay into whatever shape arises intuitively (or sculpt with eyes closed and see what emerges!). You now have a three-dimensional snapshot of your chakra's energetic state. Repeat for all seven chakras.

You can use a toothpick to pierce a hole in each sculpture, which allows you to string them onto a piece of thread or necklace chain once the clay has dried, or you can arrange them on your altar. Use the sculptures as a focal point for chakra work, perhaps placing them in a crystal grid or meditating on healing while holding one in your hand.
