Spell: Freyja's Fehu Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

The first of the Nordic runes is Freyja's. It is often transliterated as Fehu ( f), and its sound is the letter f. Practice making that sound in the cave of your mouth. Notice your lips, the vibration, where your tongue is, and how your mouth feels when you conjure the sound.

Freyja is a goddess of fertility, magic, and oracular seership and a member of the Vanir tribe. She is sister to Freyr and the daughter of Njord.

Go into a garden, whether it is at your home or a friend's or in the center of the city. Begin to trace with your projective (or power) hand the Fehu rune in the air. Make the f sound and wordlessly call upon Freyja to come and bless the garden with her powers of fertility and magic. Make a shrine for her in the garden to seal the spell.
