Spell: Knee-Deep in June Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

This is a relaxation spell inspired by the poem "Knee-Deep in June" by American poet James Whitcomb Riley. Don't feel guilty about taking time to enjoy the beautiful month of June. Remember, we paid our debt by shivering in January!
First, combine a small amount each of basil, bay leaf, and mint. You'll use this as an offering to Mother Earth. Then go to a favorite outdoor spot where you won't be disturbed. Sit on the ground until you feel rooted to the earth. Now stretch out on the grass. Savor this time, and truly experience the blessings of the God and Goddess. Watch the clouds and look at the sunlight filtering through the trees. Smell the grass and listen to the birds. Don't think of anything in particular; just be in the moment. Let all stress be absorbed by the earth. As an offering, scatter the herbs about, and then leave.
