| Whenever it's especially important that someone understands what you have to say, you can call on zephyrs (the elementals of air) for aid. Recite the following incantation the morning before you speak:
"I call on the zephyrs of the air, come and heed my words. I must communicate with [person(s) you need clear communication with] today. [Person(s)] must hear my words and understand my intent. Help me to clear the air and be understood. Help me to listen and comprehend accurately. Help me to speak with eloquence and clarity. As I do will, so mote it be." After you've spoken and received the zephyrs' aid, be sure to give them an offering in gratitude (they greatly enjoy incense). This will ensure their continuing goodwill. |
