Spell: Blow Your Worries Away

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

This spell uses the power of the air element (in this case, your breath) to blow away your worries. You'll need a tablespoon of salt or, alternately, a mixture of dried herbs and spices of your choice. Perform this spell outside, if possible, or over a sink— someplace where you won't make a mess. Visualize the salt (or the herbs and spices mixture) representing your worries and all of the little things causing you anxiety and stress.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and hold the breath for a few seconds, considering the breath being filled with life force and power. Then release the breath strongly through your mouth, blowing the salt away. Visualize banishing worry; you're blowing it out of your life. Before and after blowing the salt, chant:

Breath of life, burst of air,
Banish worry and despair.
