Spell: Cemetery Spellcrafting

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Find a peaceful cemetery in your area to visit. At dusk, bring an offering of herbs, alcohol (or juice), bread, fruit, or grain. Find an isolated area to be seated, and enter a state of somber, reflective meditation. You may choose to wear black and even a veil.
When the time is right, hold your offering high above your head and declare the following or something similar:

"Oh great and powerful dead, I honor your life and understand my own mortality. I leave you this offering so that you may be at peace. May I be granted the same in my journey on earth as well as my journey after death. So mote it be."

Meditate on the energy of death. If you feel comfortable, consider performing some communication with the angel Azrael, he who oversees the life cycle. As per tradition, once you leave your offering in the cemetery, be sure not to look back as you leave.
