Spell: Candle Consecration Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Gold
Incense of the day: Coriander

To cleanse a candle prior to spell work, collect the following: some cedar oil, a second candle, dried sage, salt, and water. The object is to consecrate the candle with each of the four elements. As you expose the candle to each item, say the words, "Power of earth, air, water, and fire-this candle is made pure for my desire." That is, roll the candle in salt, pass it through the smoke of burning sage, rinse it with water, and pass it quickly through the flame of another burning candle. Afterward, anoint the candle with the oil using the method of your choice. Don't charge the candle for its purpose at this time, but imagine clearing it of any prior associations. Later, you can charge the candle for a specific spell by visualizing your need and carving an appropriate symbol into its side.
