Sound is used in magic for a variety of purposes. For this spell, use a chime or bell to tune into those around you and boost your communication skills. You can ring an actual bell, tap a spoon handle (or other utensil) on a crystal glass or other container, or use a recorded sound.

In the space where you want to boost the connection, make the sound. Visualize the waves of sound enhancing the room or area and strengthening your connection with everyone who will be in it. This can be done before a meeting of any kind or used in a personal space, such as a home or office. You can also do this in a room full of people, such as when someone taps a wine glass before making an announcement. Make the sound, say the following chant, and then repeat the sound.

By this sound the way is clear.
