Spell: Stone and Tech Protection Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

There are several stones dedicated to July. As this month comes to a close, let's turn our attention to one of them: onyx. I wear onyx every day and have done so for decades. Wearing this stone makes me feel empowered, grounded, protected, and stronger. This is an often overlooked stone, but through its connection to July and the many qualities it has, such as protection from online psychic vampires, negativity, and haters, you will come to appreciate it.

Gather nine onyx beads and a thin red cord that can pass through them. Make a knot and then push the first stone onto the cord. Make another knot and repeat until all the onyx beads are on the red knotted cord. Place this magickal tool outside for a fortnight to charge the stones, or bury it under salt for two weeks. Then blow off the salt or dust and place the cord in a circle on your desk where you work. This will provide protection in the cyber world.
