Spell: Prosperity Pumpkin

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

In this week leading up to Halloween (Samhain), pumpkins seem to be everywhere. Here is some simple prosperity magic you can do with pumpkin seeds, whether they are picked up from the store or scooped out of your own jack-o'-lantern. Use the seeds that are still in the shell (roasted, if at home), since you are symbolically releasing the potential that is held within. Seeds are a nutritional powerhouse because much of the plant's future energy is waiting inside them.

Place some pumpkin seeds in a small bowl and put them on your altar or do this outside under the moon. Light a green or orange candle. Eat a seed after each sentence.

"Prosperity is mine.
Success is mine.
Abundance is mine.
Multiplying like the seeds of the pumpkin.
Growing like the leaves and vines.
Releasing potential into my life.
Prosperity, success, and abundance are mine.
So mote it be."
