Spell: Cleansing, Charging, and Blessing a Stone or Crystal

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

When acquiring a new stone or crystal, it will benefit from being magickally prepared before use.

Cleanse your stone with the four elements: bury it in salt or soil, allow it to sit in the open breeze, charge it in direct sunlight, and immerse it in pure water, allowing twenty-four hours ( longer if possible) for each step.

Charge your stone by leaving it on your altar for twenty-four hours, accompanied by your most important magickal tools and items during this process. If the stone will be used for lunar magicks, it should charge through a full lunar cycle, including time sitting in the full moon's light.

To bless your stone, rise at dawn. Lift it toward the rising sun (east) and then to the south, west, and north, saying:

"Powers of the universe, may this stone
be blessed to purpose, and may I use it
with knowledge and respect."

Keep the stone close to you for the next nine days.
