Spell: Tea Ceremony

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Engage in the age-old ritual of tea. Gather some loose tea, a spoon, a tea strainer, a small teapot, a tea towel, a cup and saucer, and a treat: cheese, fruit, or the like. Set water to heat, wash your hands and face-frankincense soap works beautifully for purification-and put on clean clothes. Lay out one towel as a magickal surface, then ground, center, and lay your hands on the towel, blessing it to your purpose. Place the teapot in the north position on the cloth; tea leaves, spoon, and strainer to the south; cup and saucer east, and treat to the west. Acknowledge the four directions, making appeals as desired. Fill the teapot with hot water; spoon leaves into the strainer, place in the teapot, and steep, waiting silently. Pour the tea, murmuring a prayer of thanks and gratitude. Enjoy the tea and treat silently, pondering the blessings of the universe.
