Spell: Power of the Mind

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is World Poetry Day, a great chance to get in touch with your inner wordsmith. Why not craft an affirmation for yourself?
First pick a topic you care about and want to nurture in your life, such as health, creativity, strength, connection, love, compassion, abundance, communication, or many others.
Next, create an affirmation for your goal. Here's an example:

"I welcome health, wealth, and wisdom into my day."

To make it a little more poetic, pick your intention and spend the day looking for symbols or objects that remind you of that goal. Then create a simple poem to repeat each day, reminding you of your intention.
Here's an example, in haiku form:

"Health grows like a tree.
Abundance rains gently down.
Wisdom flowers now."

You could even make a drawing to illustrate your poem, and post it by your altar.
