After you've cleared any clutter out of your bedroom and made sure that it has a serene and restful feeling, clap loudly in the corners and burn a stick of frankincense incense to lift and purify the vibrations. Then, construct a simple altar to Morpheus, the winged god of dreams, using a dark-blue candle, an amethyst, a small dish of valerian root mixed with 1 teaspoon sea salt, and a naturally shed feather. Right before bed, light the candle and sit comfortably with your eyes closed and your hands in prayer pose. Mentally call on Morpheus. Tell him that you've been having bad dreams lately and ask him to help you resolve whatever issue(s) are causing them so that you can sleep peacefully and awake refreshed. Repeat nightly until the New Moon. Then, bury the amethyst outside and throw the valerian mixture into a moving body of water. |
