Incense of the day: Hyssop Early in a new year is a good time to physically and magically clean your personal space. Your space may be your home, a specific room, a workplace, or car-anyplace where you spend a good deal of time. First, clean the area of clutter, dust, etc., and arrange things the way you like them. Next, make a mixture of water and herbs, either in a mist bottle or in a bowl. Combine 1 cup of water, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, and a pinch each of dill weed, rosemary, and mint. Depending on the size of your space, you can double or triple the mixture (you can use dried kitchen herbs). If possible, allow the mixture to sit in the sunlight or a warm location to blend for a few hours, then spray the mist around your area or sprinkle it with your fingers or a brush as you visualize the area being fresh and clean. |
