Incense of the day: Pine When summer begins, we sometimes feel embarrassed about our appearance. This waning Moon spell banishes self-consciousness. On your altar, have a mirror, a representation of each element, and an image of a goddess or god. Ground and center. Pick up the mirror and say, "This reflects the positive and banishes the negative." Consecrate the mirror with the elements, saying, "By [air, fire, water, earth] this mirror banishes negative images." Hold the mirror and the god/dess so that you see the deity's reflection. Say, "Lady/Lord, let your image banish negative images. Let me see the positive reflected." Look at yourself in the mirror, saying: "I banish the negative and see the positive. I see the Lady (or Lord)." Repeat "I see the Lady/Lord" over and over while sending power into the mirror. Say, "So mote it be." Look in the mirror every day for a month and say, "I see the Lady/Lord." |
