Color of the day: Pink
Incense of the day: Ginger In December, there is beauty, stress, anxiety, strife, and love all rolled into one month. We who work magic can depend on the gifts of the herbal kingdom to provide a wonderful balancing energy for December. This blessing incense can be burned to imbue all those who come into your space with warmth, strength, purity, and energy. It is truly a blessing for the winter season. Gather two pinches of each of the following ingredients: frankincense, myrrh, sandalwood, cedarwood, lavender, juniper berries, pine or fir needles, mugwort, cinnamon, and cloves. Grind the ingredients in a mortar and pestle until they are a coarse powder. To use, prop open a window or door just a crack. Place a bamboo charcoal in a censor. When the charcoal begins to turn white, add a few pinches of the blessing incense until the desired effect is achieved. Enjoy this aromatic blessing with your coven, family, or circle of friends. Store the powder in an airtight container away from the Sun when not in use. |
