Gather your family together and light the candles. Turn off any electric lights, then say: Hold us near, Family dear, As these words we say. Candlelight, Winter's night, Keep the cold away. Take turns reading aloud, choosing from your favorite passages in the book. Reading by candlelight creates a very cozy, magical atmosphere and strengthens family bonds. When finished, share a hug and then blow out the candles. |
