Spell: Sacred Bathing Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Blue
Incense of the day: Violet

In ancient times, when bathing in clean water was not something to take for granted, purifying oneself before a ritual or important activities was considered essential. Today prepare "Moon water" and take a sacred bath. Smudge your bathroom or light your favorite incense. Fill a silver or white china bowl with spring water. Place the moonstone you consecrated earlier in the year in the bowl as well. Place the bowl where the light of the Full Moon can "see" it for at least an hour. Light white candles in your bathroom. Draw a bath and add any cleansing herbs you like- including hyssop, lavender, cucumber, rose or jasmine petals. When the bath is ready, remove the moonstone from the Moon water and pour the water into the tub. Playing soothing meditational music or ocean sounds during your bath if you wish. Take this bath to prepare for ritual or a special evening event, or just to purify yourself, your aura, and your senses.
