Spell: Cord of Connection Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Purple
Incense of the day: Ylang-ylang

Whether we describe ourselves as "lone wolves" or "social butterflies," we are interdependent social pack animals. That is, some degree of social interaction is necessary to maintain physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual harmony. To reinforce this, light a pink candle representing the maiden Moon's aspect of attraction. Cut a length of natural (i.e. hemp or linen) cord. Focus your intent onto the cord. Now pass the cord through the flame's "aura." Hold the cord and focus on the candle. Relax your mind and body. Ask the universe to reveal the actions that will lead to better social connections. Decide on the specific actions that you can take today. Tie a knot in the cord while focusing on your decision. Extinguish the candle. Wind your cord around the remaining candle once it has cooled, and store this in a safe place. Using the same cord and candle, repeat this process daily until the Full Moon. Incorporate a new action into each new day. At the Full Moon, dispose of the cord and the candle according to your intuition. Thank the universe for the connections that you have made.
