Spell: Potatoes for Prosperity

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Plentiful, nutritious, and affordable, potatoes are considered a staple food in many Western households. They represent the basic necessities of life. This spell is designed to bring prosperity and financial stability to someone who is struggling. All you need is a potato, a knife, the name of the person you wish to benefit written on a slip of paper, and about a foot of green or gold thread.

Under the waxing moon, slice a large potato in half. Hold a half in each hand, noticing their heft and weight and considering the potato's earthiness and healthy attributes. These are energies the potato brings to this spell. Place the paper with the name between the two slices of potato. Then wrap the potato with the string and tie it. Visualize the person surrounded and held securely by stabilizing forces, with all their needs met. You can bury the potato if possible, allowing it to sprout and grow, or compost it.
