LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Unique Name Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Today is Unique Names Day. It is the perfect time to find a magical name. Some practitioners prefer to keep their magical name a secret, but others decide to share it and even change it to their legal name, like I did. In order to discover your unique magical name, try this spell.

Use a pendulum, or make one with a string and a heavy object, such as a key. You can use a pendulum board that has letters, or you can write the alphabet on paper, drawing alphabet letters on the outside of a circle. Establish trust with the pendulum and practice using it by asking it to answer several yes-no questions before you begin. Begin with the pendulum in the middle of the circle and ask it to guide you to the first letter of your magical name. Once you are ready, say these words:

May my magical name be shown

to me. Guide this pendulum to

reveal the first letter, blessed be!

Use the pendulum to help you discover additional letters in your magical name or just for the first letter.
