LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Binding Spell for Defense

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Use this spell to stop threatening or harmful adversarial actions against you. You’ll need a rusty nail and a black piece of string. Hold the string between your fingertips and focus on the adversary you wish to stop. Think of the string as actually encapsulating the very essence of this foe. Tie nine knots along the length of the string as you say:

This is my enemy tied up in knots.

Then tie the string just beneath the nailhead, and wrap it around the length of the nail as you say:

This is my enemy losing direction.

Tie off the end of the string with a quadruple knot as you say:

This is my enemy stopped for good.

Drive the nail all the way down into firm dirt, somewhere away from your property where you won’t go again. Stomp on the spot as you say:

This is my enemy bound forever,
unable to harm me, unable to hurt.

Cover the nailhead completely with dirt so that it’s no longer visible.
