As the Winter Solstice approaches, this is when most witches welcome back the light of the sun and prepare for the freshness of the new year. As we continue through the dark half of the year, this is a great time for us to find our own inner light and focus on our personal strength that has held us up as this year comes to a close. Sit in a comfortable position in a dark room, or use a blindfold if necessary. Take a few deep breaths and allow your mind and body to calm down and relax. Imagine yourself in a pitch black space where nothing is visible. As you think of how amazing and strong you are, feel yourself getting brighter and emitting a light that illuminates the space you are in. Remember that you are loved, worthy, and magical. Continue to find those elements that make your inner light shine so brightly that you shine like the sun, and feel the warmth of your light throughout your body. As you finish your meditation, keep the thoughts of your inner light within you for the remainder of the day. |
