LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Spirit-of-the-Bard Spell

Bards were a class of Druids more feared and respected than the mightiest warriors. Why? Their facility with words could build or destroy the reputation of kings. This afforded them a place of honor at the table of the High Kings of Britain and Ireland. If you are coming up empty for your next presentation or speech, it may be time to invoke the bardic spirits. Using ogham, the ancient tree alphabet of the Druids, write your request on a piece of parchment. Roll the parchment around an oak twig, bind it with ribbon, seal it with wax, and place it on your altar. Cast a circle, and meditate daily until your ideas flow freely.
