LLEWELLYN'S SPELL-A-DAY

Spell: Good Times Ahead

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Every year at about this time, it's common to hear people say they can't wait for the year to be over. They then list all of the bad things that happened over the last twelve months. They want a fresh start and believe the new year will bring the good times they crave.

Instead of focusing on the bad things that happened, try focusing on the good things instead. Sometimes we have a very difficult year that makes this task seem impossible, but it can be done. Even if the good things are relatively small compared to the bad events, they should be recognized.

Take a piece of construction or scrapbook paper and make a poster celebrating the good things that happened to you over the past year. Decorate the poster and make it pretty. Place it in a spot where you will see it daily to remind yourself of all the good times you've had and to attract more good ones to you in the coming year.
