Spell: A Morning Scrying Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

June mornings are like pearls: they're lustrous, almost ethereal. The mist from the night before lingers over ponds and rivers, and the hills aren't completely visible yet. Slowly the mist lifts like a curtain rising to start a new day.

A June morning is a good time to scry outdoors using water. To do this, find a body of water. It could be a pond, river, or birdbath. First, toss a pebble into the water. Let the ripples represent time itself, always moving. When ready, begin to scry. Think of a specific question, or be open to all images you see. When done, return to an everyday state of awareness and begin your day. Now you'll be more aware of your surroundings-the morning birdsong, the breeze on your skin, and the creation of a new day.
