Spell: A Fire and Ice House Blessing

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

As the chilly and beautiful weather surrounds us, our energies are drawn inward. We can use this opportunity to invoke protective energies for the house and home, providing a rampart of protection during the cold season.

Because magick often operates in paradigms, gather eight tealight candles and place each candle individually in a tall jar. Starting in the north and moving in a deosil (clockwise) direction, light each candle an equal distance apart around the house to form eight points representing the Wheel of the Year.

Once all the candles are safely lit, stand in the very center of your home and visualize a soft, fiery light creating the sacred Wheel of the Year, with yourself at the center. See this energy filling you and surrounding the house in a protective three-dimensional wheel of light and life. When you feel fulfilled, keep a close eye on the candles while they naturally burn out. Feel free to incorporate any additional house-cleansing rituals throughout the activity that you wish.
