Divination doesn't always have to have a prefabricated system of symbols or tools. Sometimes spontaneity is the best solution.
All you need is a big piece of paper and some crayons, colored pencils, or markers. Pick out one dark color and start scribbling with a long, single line all over the paper, looping and crisscrossing it. Then start looking for shapes in the scribbles, and color them in with other colors, even if they overlap. Do this until you feel you've brought out enough images. Next meditate on the images, how they fit together, and what they mean to you. If you started out with a specific question, see how the images create an answer. |
