| Change is a constant occurrence in our lives. Sometimes it's tough to deal with, especially when we're used to a particular routine or set of expectations. One thing that may help is a little bit of totemic Coyote energy. This isn't the potentially volatile trickster god, but the totem who embodies all the qualities of the physical, very adaptable animal.
Why Coyote? Because coyotes are one of the few animals that have broadened their range with the increase in human population. They've taken the ultimate bad situation - drastic change of environment and food source - and turned it to their favor. Coyote, the totem, overlooks this process. As with any totem, approach with respect and perhaps a small offering.
