| We find ourselves in the thick of the harvest season. As part of your magic dealing with the Earth's harvest, it's essential to bring some extra thought into what you consume. What is the origin of your food? What is its carbon footprint? Is it natural or synthetic, organic or genetically modified?
Before you eat or drink anything, give a bit of thanks to the earth and the harvest. Look at your food and drink and contemplate its origins and various components. Holding your hands over the feed, close your eyes and silently give thanks to the fallen God and Bountiful Goddess. Do the same with whatever you are drinking. Conclude by saying: "I am grateful for the bounty before me, and send blessings to all beings who have helped produce this harvest. Blessed be." |
