Spell: Flag Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Memorial Day in the USA is a time to remember those who gave their lives so that we may live. The traditional flying of the "Red, White, and Blue" is part of the American scene; however, other flags are available that serve as well. Each branch of the Armed Forces has its own flag. You can honor a family memeber who served under a particular flag by including that flag in your display. Whether you fly the flag outdoors or use the small flags in an arrangement on your table, you are doing a spell working when you bring these people to the forefront of your mind. Honoring your ancestors by including flags of their countries increases the potency of this special Memorial Day. Combining flags and flowers sends a message of gratitude to those who have gone before us.
Simple acknowledgement, in the language of flags and flowers, can be one of the most satisfying methods to heal the heartbreak of loss.
