Spell: Three’s the Charm

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Some things are harder to change directly and easier to change indirectly. For these, consider the Druidic tradition of "triads" or "threes." These are sayings that compare things, such as:
Three holy terrors: the baying
hound, the cat who hunts,
and a mother protecting her
child.
To work indirect magic, first craft a triad that includes the thing you want to affect and two other things easier to influence directly.
For example:
Three things wilt in good time:
a weed in the gardener's hand,
greens in the cooking pot,
and the habit that does only ill.
Whenever you work on one of the easy things, recite your triad, so the energy will spill over to the third thing. In this example, you might weed your garden, cook supper with spinach, and then work on breaking your bad habit-thus enjoying the momentum built up.
