Spell: Mudra Magic

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

A mudra is a mysterious gesture or posture used in ritual throughout the world. The raising of the arms skyward to invoke the gods can be considered a mudra. In the Hindu religion, mudras are a familiar practice frequently witnessed in ritual dance as well as yoga. There are many types of mudras and their intention is quite magical. They are used in the healing of mind, body, and spirit. As in the art of palmistry, areas of the hand have specific correspondences. By creating energetic links with these hand gestures or poses we can align ourselves to a specific intention. Begin your mudra magic by sitting quietly. Place your hands, palms up on your knees with the tips of your thumb, middle, and ring finger all connecting in a circle and your index and pinkie fingers extending straight. This is an energy mudra that promotes the ability to envision and shape your future like the planting of a garden. Choose to sow the seeds for your future harvest as you project your intention through this magical mudra.
