POSTED UNDER Water

Spell: Heed What You Have

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

On this day in 1944, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down the landmark decision giving African Americans the right to vote. The day reminds us that our basic rights should never be taken for granted. To bring the things you take for granted into your awareness, you will need a clear bowl of water, a dark cloth, and a white candle. In a darkened room, put the cloth on a table and be seated before it. Put the bowl of water on top of the cloth and the lighted candle on the table directly opposite you on the other side of the bowl. Turn out the lights, soften your vision, and ask the Spirit for revelation. Stare into the bowl and allow things to emerge from the watery wisdom. Without judgment, remember these things. When you are finished, extinguish the candle and thank the Spirit. Pour the water outdoors or into a houseplant.
