Spell: Salute to Ma'at

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Purple
Incense of the day: Mint

In the Egyptian calendar, this is one of Ma'at's days. Ma'at is the underworld goddess who judges the dead by weighing the heart of the deceased against an ostrich feather. If the heart is heavier than the feather, the deceased is doomed. Instead of waiting until death, use today to lighten your heart. Is there anything for which you feel you need to atone? Has anything happened since you swept your emotional hearth on Palm Sunday for which you need to ask forgiveness? Today is the day to take steps to make it right. Forgive yourself and then take action to make amends. Do this in honor of Ma'at, not in fear of her.
