Spell: Remembrance Ritual

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: White
Incense of the day: Apricot

Today marks the seventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States, leaving more than three thousand people dead and thousands more forever changed. While the attacks struck terror into our hearts, it also brought us together as a country and a world as thousands poured time, efforts, and healing thoughts into New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington. Today should be a day of remembrance for the tragedies, heroics, and miracles of 9/11. On your altar or other safe place, light a pair of white candles. Then sit quietly, watching them burn, as you contemplate the positive changes brought about by such great tragedy. Visualize and focus on the world becoming a better place of tolerance for one another.
