Incense of the day: Sandalwood The days immediately after Samhain are days to tend the dead. Tonight, cast a circle in your tradition of choice. Have a large pillar candle lit for the souls of the lost. Open the west gate of your circle and take time to communicate with the souls of the lost: the homeless, the orphans, the murdered, those who have no one to mourn them. Let them know they are honored and cared for, and encourage them on their journey. Close the gate once they are gone and take time in silence for yourself. Then ground, center, and open your circle. |
