Spell: Back to School Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Rose
Incense of the day: Evergreen

Cut a length of holly approximately 8 inches long. Wrap the stem with a copper wire, leaving the leaves free of the wire. Tie a red ribbon to the wrapped stem and hang the holly in whatever room homework is done. As you hang the talisman, remember that the time of the Holly King is one of rest, reflection, and learning. Say these words:
Now it's time for
back to school,
this child of mine
will be no fool.
(Or, if you're the one going back to school: "My mother hasn't raised a fool.")
May knowledge be
the golden key.
As I will, so mote it be!
Before a test, or if you're struggling with a particularly difficult subject, break off one of the holly leaves and put it in the book to help you concentrate.
