Spell: Vulcanalia Ritual

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Purple
Incense of the day: Cedar

Today is the Roman festival of Vulcanalia, honoring Vulcan, the Roman fire god. Working by candlelight and making offerings of fish to the god are traditional. Tonight, grill a fish dinner and put aside a portion of it for the fire god. Serve the dinner by candlelight. Bless and consecrate your stove, your microwave, your grill, your boiler, and any fireplaces in your house, honoring the god of fire. His presence eases our lives so much. Thank Vulcan for his blessings and for using fire as a comfort rather than a weapon.
