Spell: Safety at a Distance Spell

Color of the Day
Incense of the Day

Color of the day: Gray
Incense of the day: Violet

Use this to protect someone at a distance from you, helping keep him or her safe in foul weather. You will need a blue candle, a plate, and some beach sand. Also, if you have one, use a picture of the person you are trying to protect. Place the plate on a flat surface where it can be undisturbed for a few days. Arrange the photo beneath the plate. Place the candle in the middle of the plate and ring it with the sand. The candle represents the person being protected. The sand forms a ring of protection around him or her. You can think of it as a wall of sandbags, or a uncrossable line in the sand, or some such thing. Let the candle burn while you are there to supervise, until you are sure the person is safe.
