Incense of the day: Cedar Today is the day that offerings were made to the Egyptian creator god, Atum. Atum is said to have risen from the waters to create the first land and command all the forces of nature. Atum is both male and female and represents total perfection and unity. On this day, consider how well you balance your masculine and feminine aspects and how this affects your relationships. Craft two masks for this exercise. One will embody your feminine side. The other should reflect your masculine side. Pour all your relevant feelings, memories, beliefs, and experiences into the respective masks. Afterward, talk to yourself through the masks and into the mirror- free-associating to explore how balanced and powerful is each of the two aspects of you. Ask each aspect of yourself how you can better integrate and balance this energy in your life. Use whatever information you obtain to create a more integrated and powerfully balanced version of you. |
