Surprisingly, fried green tomatoes are a perfect dish to serve your lover. All the main ingredients are ruled by Venus, the planet of love. 1/2 cup flour 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal Salt and pepper to taste 1/2 tsp. brown sugar 3 medium-sized green tomatoes, thinly sliced¿ 1/4 cup butter With a fork mix the flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, and sugar in a shallow bowl. Coat the sliced tomatoes well with this mixture. Melt the butter in a frying pan until it sizzles. Fry the tomato slices until brown on each side. Serve as a warm side dish.
